Jess and Mark had their first date in 2020 at Yard House in Glenview.

Mark had asked to pick her up and take her to dinner, Jess respectfully declined.

She told him, "if the date goes well, maybe you can drop me off."

The date went perfect.

Jess texted her best friend from the bathroom that night, "he's the one."

Mark was able to drive her home but he was told to stop a block away from the house so she could jump into the backseat and pretend she was in an Uber.

They arrived to her home, where she leaped out to toss the bouquet of flowers Mark had given her, in the back yard and hide them from her dad so he wouldn't see them while he was babysitting Mason and Ryan.

Jess had lied to her dad about that night, told him she was meeting a friend for dinner.

Together now with Olivia, Rocco, Mason and Ryan -

Their families, become one.
